The first joint event organised by Transforce, the Kreissparkasse Cologne and Dr Harzem und Partner KG (auditors and tax advisors) on the theme of "Mergers & Acquisitions - Opportunities for Corporate Succession and Growth in Medium-sized Companies", a complete success.

Together with the Kreissparkasse Cologne and Dr Harzem und Partner KG (auditors and tax consultants), Transforce Mergers & Acquisitions GmbH arranged an initial event on the theme of “Mergers & Acquisitions - Opportunities for Corporate Succession and Growth in Medium-sized Companies" in the Oberbergisch district on 12 April 2011.Many entrepreneurs and managing directors from the Oberbergisch region met at the Hotel zur Post in Wiehl, to obtain information on the latest developments in the area of corporate transactions, as well as their financing and implementation.
In his opening address, the deputy chairman of the CDU party in the state parliament of North Rhine Westphalia, Mr Peter Biesenbach, was able to provide all those entrepreneurs present with useful, up-to-date details of state policy and answer the key questions on what state policy can do for medium-sized companies, for example, and what opportunities this will generate.
Josef Rentmeister, Managing Director of Transforce Mergers & Acquisitions GmbH, gave the lecture on the headline topic “Mergers & Acquisitions – Opportunities for Corporate Succession and Growth”.
BennoWendeler, regional director for Oberberg from the Kreissparkasse Cologne, provided information on the topic “Financing Corporate Acquisitions” and Mr Andreas Stamm, managing partner in Dr Harzem und Partner KG (auditors and tax advisors) addressed the process, the course of events and the stumbling blocks which entrepreneurs may encounter in the wake of acquisitions and the execution of due diligence proceedings in his lecture on the topic "Due Diligence for Corporate Acquisitions".
Transforce Mergers & Acquisitions GmbH, the Kreissparkasse Cologne and Dr Harzem und Partner (auditors and tax advisors) are already looking forward to the next planned event in the Oberbergisch district. The time and location will be announced in good time.
